      Doug! Thank you for this… It just so happens that I’ve been working on the CAGED system for the last few weeks. I’m finding that rockabilly guitar relies very much on the CAGED system. Your lessons are always excellent, I look forward to seeing your take on this.

      i have always been anti-caged.
      primarily because that’s not how i learned my pentatonics so i find it a bit confusing. especially since i tend to think in minor keys/scale shapes and caged uses major. once i figured that out it was less confusing but still just not my cup of tea. then along comes this on sale for $14.95. heck i waste more than that on snacks. so i pulled the trigger last night and ordered it. hoping it will give me some usable insight and maybe just maybe i won’t be so anti-caged. we’ll see.

      I picked it up because I trust Doug. CAGED has always been tossed around as what seemed like a gimmick to me, so I’ve never really looked into it.
