Just don’t confuse what you have listed with the scale intervals though. For instance, the second tone of the C Major scale would be a Major 2nd interval, which is a D note, although the chord itself is a D minor. So instead of including the numbers in your formula, I just like to think of it as, in the case of the Major scale, as Major, minor, minor, Major, Major, minor, diminished. All at the same time knowing that the scale intervals are root, Major 2nd, Major 3rd, Perfect 4th, Perfect 5th, Major 6th, and Major 7th.
