🤦‍♀️ after a certain hip hop producer, who shall remain unnamed, tweeted this weekend he would “run for president 2020”

Here is a real contender instead!

But Frank is dead… which means he’s still a better choice than Kanye but I still prefer Alice.

      LOL, that’s pretty funny.

Here is something I vaguely recall. Remember this?
Joe Walsh. The Eagles axeman and solo rock star has actually run for president before, in 1980 — though his “Free Gas for Everyone” campaign was hardly the height of seriousness, and as a 33-year-old at the time, he was technically ineligible for the office anyway.

**DISCLAIMER**THIS NOT INTENDED TO BE A SHOT AT ANYONE’S POLITICAL BELIEFS**

Considering Alice’s slogan in 2016 “Make America Sick Again”… and considering our current state of affairs… it’s probably good he didn’t win because then some people might blame the president.

The slogan sure has some miles on it, it’s interesting it has proven so popular. So many memes on ‘make america something something’. Even premier guitar had some ‘make america fingerpick again’ or something cheesy. It’s a bit strange because as a metalhead the last thing I want is for someone telling me “we’re gonna make everybody ______.”. I’m like: no way, you can’t make me do anything! lol Such a rebel without a cause, hah.

MAB performing the USA National Anthem!

Kanye is clearly messed up, mentally and chemically. I mean at first, years back, it was funny and ridiculous. Now it’s like, geez, hope he has professional psychologists monitoring him. Apparently his new album(s) are 100% bible focused.

Clearly if there are no living beings suitable for the job then the appropriate choice is a member of the underworld including the undead. Too bad Rob Zombie or John 5 aren’t running.

I guess I’ve just gotten old. I can’t even call myself a metalhead anymore… I like metal, but only the stuff up to about ’85… ‘death metal’ ‘thrash metal’ ‘black metal’ all sounds like noise to me now.

That “metal” attitude of “Don’t tell me what to do” is pretty popular these days – only now it’s all about idiots and their politics.

Like I said, I must have gotten old because I don’t mind being told to wear a mask and if someone tells me to do something I have a problem doing, I just don’t do it. I don’t argue or “protest”…

Yup, I’m old (and yes, it can be too loud)

      i know what you mean.
i spent my youth as a boat rocker.
      always against the grain.
      a nonconformist.
and while certain elements of that remain the rebel in me tends to ask “is it really worth the trouble” before i say or do something i may regret later.
where as before i used to run straight into conflict – today i tend to avoid it.
      as for metal…
      i too like the classics.
never got into the extreme genres.
you can find a weekly dose of classic metal on dee snider’s house of hair.

rock and roll ain't pretty; that's why they picked us to play it.
