“Prelude ex Inferni” a short overture I wrote as a prelude to a metal song in the making…
Really nice Kenny.
My biggest fear is when I die, my wife will sell my guitars for what I told her they cost.
Very cool. Technically an overture means that it’s an intro to a bigger work. Will this be an album? I always loved in the rock opera Tommy how certain motifs got reused, like the french horn sounds and stuff.
I created a symphonic intro to my rock opera that had a 30 piece orchestra and then overlayed bass, guitar, drums. (Technically, the rock version came first, but then I got the symphony orchestra to record it and mixed the two.) The album is free at http://www.rock-opera.com, soundcloud etc.
Nice work ZUrlocker, that reminded me a little bit of Trans-Siberian Orchestra but a happier one 🙂
Regarding what you’ve asked “Will this be an album?”
– No, it’s just a single track
