just always liked this tune.
rock and roll ain't pretty; that's why they picked us to play it.
I had it on cassette 😀
Talk about a band destroyed with the arrival of grunge and end of the 80s era, yeah.
Something sounds off though in some chords. Not sure what it is. The chorus part sounds ok.
It’s like, wow, remember when pop music was light and inoffensive, lol. What a great band.
I'm an intermediate student of Metal Method. I play seitannic heavy metal. All Kale Seitan! ♯ ♮ ♭ ø ° Δ ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬
And on the Seventh Day, Mustaine said: ∇ ⨯ E = - ∂B / ∂t ; and there was Thrash; and it had a ♭3; and it was good.
the off sounding part is probably just my guitar a tad out of tune. or my bad fretting pulling notes a little out.
plus i play a very clean part with a bit of overdrive trying to make it more rock and less pop.

The pitchless yell! Mutt Lange effect/dolby encode only, etc….So awesome. Was really missing from the DAW world until Audio Assault’s XCTR. I used to try all manner of craZiness to get it before that.
You know what’s funny. The lyrics are the worst date-lines ever, total 80s style.
“Don’t you believe in love, baby?”
“Wanna stay for the night? I wanna love you all over”
“If you believe it, Take my hand, And I’ll take your heart, come on”
Perhaps why my 80’s did not go so well, haha.
