rock and roll ain't pretty; that's why they picked us to play it.
I checked the demo out, dropped in one of the pop songs I had transcribed recently. It is neat that it allows importing music videos and simply extracts the audio from the mp4 file. The results were strange though, different from what I had. Its cool that it detects the parts and names them in relation to each other (kind of like detecting a first verse, and labelling all the later verse parts). The time signature, and tempo, were different from mine, and where I had a drum break, it put in some other section name. Overall it seemed to work in some ways but not others. It had added chord changes which I didnt have, I guess because it was following the walking bass line. Ultimately that means I now wonder if my transcription is correct, or if the app is correct and I’m wrong. The user interface GUI is kind of… artsy, unique, non-standard.

And on the Seventh Day, Mustaine said: ∇ ⨯ E = - ∂B / ∂t ; and there was Thrash; and it had a ♭3; and it was good.
