another fun one i hope to convince the band to cover.

rock and roll ain't pretty; that's why they picked us to play it.

Awesome! Another 80s pop hit fan. It sounds good 🙂

i learned the song from the video.

        https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IIEVqFB4WUo

of course my guitar is much more distorted.
that was on purpose. i like making pop songs sound more like hard rock/heavy metal.

        i played/recorded with a backing track i downloaded from

        https://www.guitarbackingtrack.com

i’ve been playing guitar on and off since about 1985.
i didn’t play much while in the military (1986-1989). played steadily and gigged quite a bit thru the 1990s. i didn’t play much from about 2003 until i started doing online collabs around 2012. then i got into recording and mixing too. just recently i got back into a band.

Oh ic rightonthemark. I was thinking the vocals were sounding different than the record. Perhaps its slightly different so YT doesn’t flag it? I wonder how people cover songs and some get flagged and some do not.

Also, I don’t get an email when people reply. I didn’t see this until now
Great work, hope to hear more from you and hope you continue to progress to the highest level on guitar and more 😉

most of my youtube covers get flagged but is allowed.
and that the owner of the music might monetize it.
some of mine have been blocked in other countries (i am in the usa).
but they haven’t been removed or blocked in the states.
