Wow, Axe! Very cool. I don’t think we’ve heard this before. Very thoughtful and dramatic arrangement, great tones and melodies!
Would you care to let us know what software you are using for guitar, drums, etc.?
🙂

Good stuff man. I’m picturing myself listening to it in my car and that’s always a good thing coming from me. Both of your Carvin’s look nice by the way.
I don’t know how old you are but I can remember hearing on the radio a band called Axe back in the early 80’s. For some crazy reason while I was looking at the image you posted with the song that band came back to my mind.

Axe – man all your stuff is top notch, great melodies and pro arrangements. And your Carvins, drooling over that blue CS4C ya did great picking them options. Natural BB omg. You know I love Carvin guitars ;).
Top Gun – I have 3 tapes for Axe they were a great band, still remember some great songs Offering, Rock’n’Roll Party in the Street, Life’s Just an Illusion. Gonna have to break out the tape player and have myself an 80’s melodic metal session. 🙂

Sounds great Axe. I really enjoyed it. Beautiful guitar too. What does the headstock look like? I like the color.

Thank You Sarah I DO appreciate that 🙂
What I use…. On this one
My a fore mentioned Carvin CS4C
Ibanez 4 string Bass ( because I had to play Bass on it instead of my Canadian Bass Bud)
Drums are Superior 2.0 w/Drumkit from Hell add on..
I now have EZ Drummer 2 and will be moving to it when this project is done.. I love how it has the tap and search function that gives you in descending order the matches it finds in your Midi loop library from a 100% match on down to a minimal match. I also LOVE how it sees all of my add on packs AND all of my midi loop libraries.. I have a ton.. I actually like the versatility of EZD2 over Superior 2.0 also. And to my ears, it sounds better too..
I also use Miroslav Philharmonik for a lot of things.. All Human voices on this track were done with a Midi keyboard and Miroslav.. The orchestral strings on Miroslav are freaking Nirvana..
I also use Omnisphere.. But not on this track..
I used to be a huge Sonar fan but talked into trying Reaper and have never looked back… 😀
Maybe what I’ll do instead of spamming the “Progress Review sub forum with threads is, post a track once in a while in this thread..
My Canadian Bass Buddy, another friend and I are about to finish a holiday TSO style track that will get it’s own thread tho.. We’re pretty proud of it so far.

Wow, it’s epic, like a soundtrack song for the next Avengers movie or something.
I'm an intermediate student of Metal Method. I play seitannic heavy metal. All Kale Seitan! ♯ ♮ ♭ ø ° Δ ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬
And on the Seventh Day, Mustaine said: ∇ ⨯ E = - ∂B / ∂t ; and there was Thrash; and it had a ♭3; and it was good. -

Here’s one that has a little length to it too..
I was going to start posting some seasonal Symphonic Rock stuff we’re doing in a project I’m involved with around Thanksgiving, but one member took his ball and went home when he got out voted on choice of masters.. :-/ They were really good too 🙁
