Hey Folks,
Well… after a considerable amount of time deliberating, I’ve taken the plunge and am on-board with the Mastery Programme ( a 48th birthday present to myself) 😉
Greetings to All from, the UK.

Hey Doug,
Thanks so much. I’ve “mucked around” on and off [more off than on] over the past 2 decades and it’s time to do this right.
I can think of no better team to get me there than “you and yours” 🙂
Cheers & Regards

Rock on. What’s going on in local metal in the UK these days? I think most of us frequent posters are in the US.
I'm an intermediate student of Metal Method. I play seitannic heavy metal. All Kale Seitan! ♯ ♮ ♠ø ° Δ ♩ ♪ ♫ ♬
And on the Seventh Day, Mustaine said: ∇ ⨯ E = - ∂B / ∂t ; and there was Thrash; and it had a â™3; and it was good.-

Hey SB,
Do you know what….? I’ve got no real clue as to “the low down” with the local metal scene these days…
The closest I’ve been is that my 3rd cousin (Darrin Mooney) drums for Primal Scream and was also working with Gary Moore until he died (I had the pleasure of meeting Gary – wow, what a legend!. RIP).
I’ve also got a step-brother (once removed), Luke Gibson, who is front man for a local band called Soul Sanctuary (look them up on YouTube) – a bit too heavy for me, though.
I grew up listening to Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee, Gary Moore, Vivian Campbell, John Sykes, EvH, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Morse etc… etc… and for some reason I seem to be stuck with/in that genre of melodical metal / hard rock.
Perhaps now I’m getting the cobwebs off the axe, I may just have to get out there and see/support some local and new talent.
Cheers & Best

To some us, being 48 makes you one of the “kids” 😉
My biggest fear is when I die, my wife will sell my guitars for what I told her they cost.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your welcome birthday wishes.
We’re having unseasonally mild weather at the moment – yesterday was the warmest Halloween on record! I think we reached a max temp of around 17 degrees celcius, which is amazing for this time of year. I live about 40 miles west of London.
Is the weather just as kind for you? What part of the country are you based in?
Cheers
